Vienna Handball Cup

B – 2010
The competition is played on a field measuring 37x18m

The duration of the matches is 2×15 min

The matches are played with a size 2 ball

The exclusion lasts 1 min.

In the groups, everyone plays against everyone. After that, the first from all three groups and the best second-placed team play
the semi-finals, then for third place and the final.

The remaining two second-placed teams play for 5th place. The best third-placed and the next most successful third-placed team play for 7th place. The remaining third-placed and best fourth-placed teams play
for 9th place, and the remaining two fourth-placed teams play for 11th place.
In the event that two or more teams in the table have the same number of points, a mini table will be created with those teams,
after which the final ranking will be determined. If the ranking cannot be determined in this way, the higher-placed team is the team that has scored more points in the overall table. If the placement cannot be determined in this way, the better placed team will be decided by drawing lots. In placement matches, in which a winner must be found, if the match ends in a draw, the 7-meter throws are immediately taken in accordance with the Rules of Handball, but in series of 3 7-meter throws instead of 5.
